Carolina Cataract & Laser Center (CCLC) is proud to welcome optometrist Dr. Annabel Graettinger to our growing team. Dr. Graettinger brings advanced training in ocular disease, with expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex eye conditions, primary vision care and specialty contact lens fittings. She is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care that helps patients protect and preserve their vision at every stage of life.

Dr. Graettinger earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry and completed her chief residency in ocular disease at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. Her clinical training includes externships at the Indianapolis EyeCare Center, Camp Lejeune Naval Base VA and the Eye Institute of Utah. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from Western Illinois University.
An active member of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), Dr. Graettinger has presented research on infectious disease and retinal vascular health at national academic conferences. She is currently pursuing her fellowship designation with the AAO. She will see patients at CCLC’s Ladson and Mt. Pleasant locations.
