Dr. Kent specializes in cataracts and glaucoma. After graduating from Haverford College, Dr. Kent attended Stanford Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at Stanford Medical Center. He did his glaucoma fellowship at Dartmouth/Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Kent has published numerous articles and peer-reviewed papers on glaucoma, cataracts, and other subjects within ophthalmology. He has been the Principal Investigator of many clinical trials, and has presented his work at national and international glaucoma meetings. He is a member of the American Glaucoma Society, has served as the President of the Charleston Ophthalmological Society, and is Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at MUSC.
