Dr. Baldwin sees patients at the Ladson and Walterboro clinics, where he uses the latest diagnostic technologies and evidence-based treatments. Dr. Baldwin earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2006.

Certified in Refractive Surgical Care

Dr. Baldwin is certified in refractive surgical care, giving patients an experienced co-management resource before and after elective vision correction procedures.

Dr. Baldwin has served as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at the Michigan College of Optometry, helping educate and mentor the next generation of optometrists. He takes pride in building lasting relationships with patients at every stage of life.




Dr. Jason Baldwin is an experienced optometrist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered eye care. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2006 and has been committed to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy vision throughout his career.

Before pursuing optometry, Dr. Baldwin served six years on active duty in the United States Air Force. After graduating from optometry school, he returned to active-duty service for an additional four years as an Air Force optometrist, bringing his total active-duty military service to 10 years. He continues his commitment to serving others through the Air National Guard, where he has proudly served for the past 17 years.

Dr. Baldwin has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, including glaucoma, corneal disease, emergency eye care, dry eye disease, and other conditions affecting vision and eye health. He is dedicated to utilizing the latest diagnostic technologies and evidence-based treatments to provide the highest level of care for his patients.

He is certified in refractive surgical care and also holds certification in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) through the United States Air Force, reflecting his advanced training in both elective surgical co-management and emergency combat medical response.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Baldwin has served as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at the Michigan College of Optometry, helping educate and mentor future optometrists.

Dr. Baldwin combines extensive clinical experience, military service, and a passion for education to deliver exceptional eye care. He takes pride in building lasting relationships with his patients and helping them protect and preserve their vision at every stage of life.
