Annabel Graettinger, O.D. is an optometrist with a focus on ocular disease and primary eye care. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from Western Illinois University.
Dr. Graettinger completed externships at the Indianapolis EyeCare Center, Camp Lejeune Naval Base VA, the Eye Institute of Utah, and the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, gaining broad experience in managing complex ocular conditions and fitting specialty contact lenses. During her education, she also served as a tutor in binocular vision, ocular disease, clinical sciences, and pharmacology, helping to mentor the next generation of optometry students.
She has presented research on ocular manifestations of infectious diseases at Medical University of South Carolina, as well as a retinal hemorrhage and elevated plasma homocysteine poster at the Heart of America Eye Care Congress in Kansas City. Dr. Graettinger is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and holds current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED. She is currently pursuing her fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO).
When she is not busy with patients, she enjoys being active, hanging out at the beach, and watching or participating in any sport.
