Eye Doctor Ladson, SC

Dr. Smith graduated from NOVA Southeastern College of Optometry in 2017.  Following graduation, she completed a Primary Care Residency at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston.  Her residency training included significant experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, specialty contact lens management, and low vision care for visually impaired patients. 

Dr. Smith was also selected to participate in Project Magnify which is a program through the SC School for the Deaf and Blind that provides low vision rehabilitation services for visually impaired students.  She has served as a clinical instructor at the VA providing clinical care instruction for optometry students and residents.

She has been in private practice since the completion of her residency training and excels in providing excellent care for her patients of all ages.
