Dr. Vroman Speaks At Emory

Dr Vroman was invited to speak at Emory to cornea specialists from around the world this past weekend. He was teaching advanced anterior segment surgery techniques, including endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK, DSAEK), anterior keratoplasty (DALK), and corneal collagen crosslinking (CXL) for keratoconus.

“It is not secret that our local hospital has come under a fair amount of fire lately. A two percent across the system layoff was met with an awful lot of negative chatter, mostly from disgruntled former employees and others, who for whatever reason, have made it their business to not like or support Clarendon Health System. I suspect there is much more controversy coming.

Far removed from the financial woes and management troubles at Clarendon Memorial, I have had (yet another) medical experience there that I would like to share.”
